Welcome to A Noteworthy Bite

My husband, Mark, and I are ardent wanderers. Our nomadic tendencies can keep us close to home with a drive through north Georgia where we live, or we might travel across the globe to a different continent. No matter where our travels take us, the focus - intentionally or not - always becomes the food.

It has become our philosophy that you can learn more about a place from a single bite than from any guidebook. From street vendors and food trucks to elegant, Michelin starred restaurants, and even back to our own home kitchen, we are always in search of that bite worth remembering

Over the years of exploring, we have come to realize those exquisite, memorable bites more often exist in the quiet, out-of-the-way places than in the limelight of the Instagram-worthy venues. The meals that stay with us are rarely the most expensive or the most photographed. They're the ones that carry a sense of place - of care, hospitality, and intention.

Food is a universal language. Every culture has it, every home depends on it, and every meal tells a story. A dish can reveal how people live, what they value, and how they welcome others to the table. When we slow down enough to notice what we're eating, we often discover connection where we least expect it.

A Noteworthy Bite is a collection of those moments. Sometimes the bite comes from a bustling market or a candlelit restaurant. Other times, it's recreated in our own kitchen in an attempt to hold onto a memory just a little longer.

This space if for thoughtful travel, meaningful meals, and the quiet joy of noticing. It's for anyone who believes that one good bite can change the way you remember a day, a place, and those with whom you shared it.

Grab a bite with us!
